What is Website Maintenance?

Maintenance is defined as keeping the web site current. It is not a redesign or revamp.

Web site maintenance services include revising, editing, or otherwise changing existing web pages to keep your website up to date. This includes:

  • Updating content and images,
  • Updating graphics,
  • Maintaining library database of all Website graphics, components, etc. and
  • Providing disaster recovery/backup.

We reserve the right to distinguish between updates and new design. New design work is charged at our rate of $50 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.

Maintenance & Update Packages

e-Topia offers packages for your Website whether you will require infrequent or frequent maintenance and updates.

By Request

With this option, we will simply make the changes you need to your Website whenever you need them. This option will be charged at $35 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.

Yearly Special

If your Website requires regular maintenance, we recommend our Yearly Special of $350 per year.

With the Yearly Special we will update your Website each week (or as needed) for up to 1 hour per month. Any additional maintenance or updates (over 1 hour) will be charged at the rate of $35 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.

Updates are completed within 8-24 hours of the time they are received, except weekends and holidays.

Additional Maintenance Information

Although we make every effort to make accurate changes, it is the client's responsibility to review updates and notify us of any necessary changes that need to be made. We do not charge for changes that are our fault. However, if a change needs to be made due to client error, the regular hourly update fees will be charged if there is no maintenance contract.

Updates should be provided electronically (by email) as much as possible.

  • Attachments should be in text (.txt) or Word (.doc) format.
    We also accept PDF (.pdf) files if the document is in its final format.
  • Pictures need to be .jpg, .gif, or .png format.

Updates may also be sent by postal mail or fax. These require retyping data or scanning photos and will cost more to complete the changes.

Accuracy is important to us. We do our best to get it right the first time!
